Rakshak COD Partial Pay & OTP ("the App") provides Cash on Delivery verification services to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

• Shop Information: Shop name, email, domain, and settings.
• Customer Information: Name, shipping address, phone number, and order history (strictly for verification purposes).
• Order Information: Order details necessary to calculate COD fees and verify risks.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Specifically, we use it to:

• Send OTP (One-Time Password) messages to customers via SMS or WhatsApp to verify their phone numbers.
• Analyze order risk based on historical data (RTO rates, previous returns).
• Process partial payments if enabled by the merchant.
• Provide customer support and improve the App.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

4. Data Retention

We maintain Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. You can request data deletion by uninstalling the App or contacting us.

5. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
